Letter to Kaisar الكتاب الى قيصر عظيم الروم

يسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
من محمد عبد الله ورسوله الى هرقل عظيم الروم
سلام على من اتبع الهدى، أسلم تسلم، أسلم يؤتك الله أجرك مرتين، فإن توليت فان عليك إثم الأريسيين ، (يا أهل الكتاب تعالوا الى كلمة سواء بيننا وبينكم ألا نعبد الا الله ولا نشرك به شيئاً ولا يتخذ بعضنا بعضاً أرباباً من دون الله فان تولوا فقولوا اشهدوا بأنا مسلمون)". آل عمران: 64

English Translation:

“In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

From Mohammad, the slave of Allah and His Messenger to Hercules, King of the Byzantines,
Peace be upon him who follows true guidance. Thereafter, I invite you to embrace Islam so that you may live in security. If you come within the fold of Islam, Allah will give you double reward, but in case you turn your back upon it, then the burden of the sins of the Byzantines shall fall on your shoulders, (Say: “O people of the Scripture, come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah. Then, if they turn away, say: Bear witness that we are Muslims”. [Aal Imran: 64]

que la paix soit sur ceux qui suivent le bon chemin que t'appelle à l'Islam, pour avoir le double de tes bontés, si tu refuse tu seras puni comme les Rissiens [Dis: «Ô gens du Livre, venez à une parole commune entre nous et vous: que nous n’adorions qu’Allah, sans rien Lui associer, et que nous ne prenions point les uns les autres pour seigneurs en dehors d’Allah». Puis, s’ils tournent le dos, dites: «Soyez témoins que nous, nous sommes soumis».]
