"بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم"
من محمد رسول الله الى المنذر بن ساوي،
سلام عليك فاني أحمد اليك الله الذي لا إله الا هو وأن محمداً عبده ورسوله، أما بعد، فاني أذكرك الله عز وجل، فانه من ينصح فانما ينصح لنفسه، وإنه من يطع رسلي ويتبع أمرهم فقد أطاعني، ومن نصح لهم فقد نصح لي، وإن رسلي قد أثنوا عليك خيراً، واني قد شفعتك في قومك، فاترك للمسلمين ما أسلموا عليه، وعفوت عن أهل الذنوب، فاقبل منهم، وإنك مهما تصلح فلم نعزلك عن عملك. ومن أقام على يهوديته أو مجوسيته فعليه الجزية".

ُA Letter to Mundhir Bin Sawi, Governor of Bahrain:
“In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful"
From Mohammad, the Messenger of Allah to Mundhir Bin Sawi,
Peace be upon you. I praise Allah with no associate, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. Thereafter, I remind you of Allah, the Almighty, the Glorious. Whoever accepts admonition, does if for his own good. Whoever my messengers follows their orders, he, in fact, has obeyed me and whoever is loyal to them he is loyal to me. My messengers have highly praised your behavior. You shall intercede for your people. Give the new Muslims full chance to preach their religion. Pardon the offences of the offenders; therefore, you may also forgive them. We will not dismiss you from your office as long as continue to do the good deeds. Of the people of Bahrain whoever wants to go on in their Jewish or Magian faith, should be made to pay Jizya (poll-tax)”.

Au nom de dieu clément et miséricordieux,
de Mohammed le prophète de dieu à Mondher Ben Sawi,
que la paix soit sur toi, je t'envoi l'appelle du bon dieu, il n'y a dieu qu'Allah et Muhammad est son esclave et prophète, je te rappelle le bon dieu et je te conseille pour ton propre bien et celui qui croit à mes messagers et les suit est entrain de me suivre, et leurs conseils son les miens, mes messagers ont bien dit de toi et je te nomme sauveur de tes siens musulmans et j'ai pardonné les pêcheurs et tu resteras dans ton poste d'Emir, et ceux qui veulent rester chrétiens ou juifs payeront la capitation.
