Message to Najashi الكتاب الى النجاشي ملك الحبشة
وهذا النجاشي اسمه أصْحَمَة بن الأبْجَر، كتب إليه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مع عمرو بن أمية الضَّمْرِي في آخر سنة ست أو في المحرم سنة سبع من الهجرة(بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. من محمد رسول الله إلى النجاشي عظيم الحبشة، سلام على من اتبع الهدى، أما بعد:
فإني أحمد إليك الله الذي لا إله إلا هو الملك القدوس السلام المؤمن المهيمن، وأشهد أن عيسي بن مريم روح الله وكلمته ألقاها إلى مريم البتول الطيبة الحصينة، فحملت بعيسي من روحه ونفخه، كما خلق آدم بيده، وإني أدعو إلى الله وحده لا شريك له، والموالاة على طاعته، وأن تتبعني، وتؤمن بالذي جاءني، فإني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وإني أدعوك وجنودك إلى الله عز وجل، وقد بلغت ونصحت، فاقبل نصيحتى، والسلام على من اتبع الهدى).
ولما بلغ عمرو بن أمية الضمري كتاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى النجاشي أخذه النجاشي، ووضعه على عينه، ونزل عن سريره على الأرض، وأسلم على يد جعفر بن أبي طالب، وكتب إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بذلك، وهاك نصه:
[بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. إلى محمد رسول الله من النجاشي أصحمة، سلام عليك يا نبي الله من الله ورحمة الله وبركاته، الله الذي لا إله إلا هو، أما بعد:فقد بلغني كتابك يا رسول الله فيما ذكرت من أمر عيسي، فورب السماء والأرض إن عيسي لا يزيد على ما ذكرت
ولما بلغ عمرو بن أمية الضمري كتاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى النجاشي أخذه النجاشي، ووضعه على عينه، ونزل عن سريره على الأرض، وأسلم على يد جعفر بن أبي طالب، وكتب إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بذلك، وهاك نصه:

English Translation:
Prophet’s Letter sent to Negus, King of Abyssiania (Ethiopia), his name was Ashama Bin Al-Abjar:
“In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
From Mohammad, the Messenger of Allah to Negus, King of Abyssinia (Ethiopia),
Peace be upon him who follows true guidance. Thereafter, I entertain Allah’s praise, there is no god but He, the Sovereign, the Holy, the peace, the Guardian of faith, the Absolute Master. I bear witness that Jesus, the son of Mary, is the spirit of Allah and His word which He cast into Mary, the virgin, the good, the pure, so that she conceived Jesus. Allah created him from His spirit and His breathing as He created Adam by His Hand. I call you to Allah Alone with no associate and to His obedience and to follow me and to believe in that which came to me, for I am the Messenger of Allah. I invite you and your men to Allah, the Glorious, the Almighty. I hereby bear witness that I have communicated my message and advice. I invite you to listen and accept my advice. Peace be upon him who follows true guidance”.

de Mohammed le prophète de dieu à Négus le grand d'Abyssinie,
que la paix soit sur ceux qui suivent le bon chemin, je remercie dieu qui n'y Allah que lui, le roi, le sacré, la paix, le tout puissant, le croyant, et j'atteste que Jésus fils de Marie est l'esprit de dieu et son mot lancé à la Vierge Marie, qui a donné naissance à Jésus, esprit de dieu et sa décision, comme il a crée Adam de ses mains, je t'appelle à dieu qui n'y Allah que lui seul et sans partenaire pour l'obéir et me suivre et croire en ce qui m'a été envoyé car je suis le prophète de dieu, je t'ai envoyé ce message pour te donner conseil, accepte le, et que la paix repose sur ceux qui suivent le bon chemin.
